Click here for a short video clip about why we take on this great project.
Our 2012 Wreath Laying event was a great success. Our heartfelt thanks go out to each person who supported us by purchasing a wreath or participated in our wreath-laying ceremony on Saturday, December 15th.
Since fundraising is a year-round effort, all funds received through December 15, 2012 will be credited to the 2012 effort. Those contributions received after December 16, 2012, will go toward our 2013 fund-raising.
Thousands of photos were taken at our ceremony this year. If you have photos that you would like to share with us, please email them to tom@bakersfieldwreathproject.org or mail them to us on a CD or DVD to:

Wreaths Across America dates back to 1992. Very simply, it is a solemn process of placing a wreath on every US Veteran's grave at every US Veterans' Cemetery.
Bakersfield National Cemetery, one of the newest in the country, was among those adorned by wreaths on December 12, 2009, the first year that the cemetery was open. The complete organization and fulfillment of this project was carried out by the Bakersfield Breakfast Rotary Club.
Words cannot express the honor and humility that this project brings to all who participate.
For this project to continue, we are expanding our efforts to raise funds by contacting a number of community-conscious companies in this area. We publicly thank them here for their 2012 contributions:
